Adjusting Crop Cricles

I just graduated from the University of Illinois and am starting my career as a crop adjuster. After two weeks of field training I've got a ton to write about so I decided to start a blog. I'm not the greatest writer but at least this is a way I'll be able to record my experiences with my very first "real" job. So, I guess we will just see how this goes!

I decided on "Adjusting Crop Circles" for two reasons:

1. As a crop adjuster you seem to just run circles, from one farm to another, back to finalized claims and to get signatures. Also the whole crop insurance system is cyclical, prevent plant, replant, hail, wind, green snap, flood, revenue loss, and harvest loss claims.

2. I've worked a ton of hail, wind, and green snap claims in the last two weeks and found that much of it tends to be in patches that sometimes resemble crop circles, obviously not actual alien crop circles, but I like to make that joke to the farmers.
